Please feed the BOOKWORM!
I am an absolute Book-o-holic. There is nothing better then getting swept into a great story till you can no longer differentiate your feelings from those flowing from the pages. I love living hundreds of lives thru my books. There is something so therapeutic about being able to "click off" and let my mind wander in the most amazing places. My love affair with books is unparalleled and now I have a blog to share my passion. BOOKWORMS UNITE! We were a dying breed that has made a ferocious comeback.
This book was so good. It was so action packed I was really upset when it was over. I hope the series will continue cause I need to know what happens to Elyse and William!!! I've been sucked into these books from day 1. Congrats to the wonderful Mrs. Therrien for painting a beautiful picture and telling a great story.
Such a fun book. Alittle bit for a younger crowd but I still completely enjoyed Mr. Riordan's sense of humor through out. Will definitely continue the series.
Oh my goodness. This series Starcrossed, dreamless,and goddess are one of my new favorites. It is right up there with Hunger Games and my beloved Mortal Instruments. Yes people. It's that good!! I can always tell when a book is amazing when I have trouble moving on after the series is over. This book had the perfect blend of love, internal struggle and awesome gods and goddesses. I was hooked from about 30 pages in. Helen our main character is not only a bad ass but she's smart and thinks things thru and figures them out with the help of the Delos family and her best friends as well. My love for the charecters only made this book all the more enjoyable and it was truly a pleasure reading. I know I will return to this series again and again cause there is so much going on I'm sure I missed something along the way... And I honestly can't wait!
This book was incredible. It had everything I would want. Action, love, adventure, hot Greek gods ((sigh)) I'm sad it's over. I read fast but a book in 29 hours is a record for me. I would definitely recommend this. Helen is such a cool leading lady and she doesn't piss me off like some other have in other books. Starting Goddess ASAP!!!!
Wow. I had really high expectations for this book and even though it started slow it lived up to and exceeded them. I'm so thrilled with all the action, suspense, and possible love connections. I think that it was a fair representation of Greek mythology keeping in mind it's a fiction book. I love anything to do with Greek mythology so I'm glad this book was so well seasoned with it. Can't wait to start Dreamless!!
Definitely loved seeing how wills parents met and I hope more of these include my favorite charecters as I'm sure they will
This book was so fun. I don't believe every book has to fall into the "twilight" or "Harry potter" categories. That Being said yes it has a lead hero with two trusty sidekicks but similarities stop there. I thought it was funny and well written and even though below my age group (I'm 29) I still really enjoyed it and purchased the other books in the series. I love me some Greek mythology.
I didn't know what to expect when I read the teaser from this book but after about 30 pages your in deep!! I've never been more emotionally invested in reading in my life. The authors word play was new and captivating while her rich characters felt extremely real. The struggle they all went thru mirrors life like nothing I've ever read. This book is a strait heart warmer and if your looking for a great feel good read. Look no further. This book has everything u could want. The best part is this is her debut!!Can not WAIT to see what she comes out with next!
I really am so intrigued with this storyline but the writing is just poor. The characters aren't enthralling and the story often takes weird turns which I usually find interesting these are just completely nonsensical. I feel like she's leading up to something monument outs and then it sputters out and becomes how much Kate feels henry doesn't love her. Wahhhh wazhhhhh wahhhh. I need the characters to be more relatable. These are just plain silly if u ask me. God I want to like these books but they just are t that quality a d like I've stated before the storyline which is Awesome is wasted in the poor writing.
I originally wasn't sure. I liked this book but then again couldn't stop thinking about once finished which means it left A HUgE impression on me.
It's was ok that's it just ok. I'm so sad cause there is ssoooooooo much potential in this story line and I feel like it constantly falls short. I won't be continuing the series :-(
I liked this book overall but for me the actions of the characters at times were not very realistic which made it hard to stay in the book. I still finished and will read the next books cause I do think its a great story line. Just gets alittle lost in the writing from time to time.
Obsession
Oh my.....baby alien babies everywhere. This book was freakin SEXY! A mix between the lux series and fifty shades of grey ( yay it's that erotic) but also a great read with an amazing new perspective. I love how the bad guys aren't always all bad and the good guys aren't always all good. There are a lot of shades of grey in the middle such as life. It was incredibly interesting getting some back story in the Arum as well. You very rarely get the "enemy" perspective. But Hunter could be my guardian ANYTIME!
Such an amazing story. I flew thru this series!!! Definitely definitely a must read!!! Great pov and character development. I really am attached to a few of them. Also the world building is pretty good too. I just really am so happy I picked this up.
